Prison Lords started as an idea to let people experience what life inside a prison felt like, on either side of the bars. Over time it grew into more game and less simulator, and into a tabletop RPG where players take on the roles of staff or inmates navigating The depths inside a prison.

Anyone who has spent time around a prison knows the ghost stories and rumors. Prison Lords leans into that, expanding beyond just a game about authority and defiance. Prison Lords includes supernatural elements that mimic the eerie feelings one gets late at night when the past echoes.

The bulk of the game design is done. Rules, classes, systems, and core mechanics have all been developed and tested. What remains is finishing up some minor details, the artwork, and the layout for the books.

When time allows, Darious will also posts videos to YouTube covering artwork, creative projects, game development, commentary, and occasional looks behind the scenes, or just what game he's playing.
